For Huron President
Hi! My name is Nate Sussman and I am a third year Political Science student here at Huron. I am a Canadian but have been born and raised in Bermuda. Since coming to Huron, I have tried to involve myself in as many different areas as possible and as a result I think that I’ve gained a good understanding of Huron’s identity. I believe that Huron has the potential to be one of the best liberal arts colleges in the country and so our student government needs to fit that profile!
I’m running for President of Huron’s Student Council because I see a lot of areas for improvement in our current model. Generally speaking, I think that Council should be taking greater measures to understand what Huron students actually want, and that this information should be directly translated into an output of programming, advocacy, and investment. I believe that my ideas and experience make me the ideal candidate to lead Council toward such improvements, and I hope that this website convinces you of the same.
